Shrimp Avocado Sushi Roll Recipe

Shrimp Avocado Sushi Roll is a delicious and refreshing bite-sized roll that combines the sweetness of shrimp with the creaminess of avocado. This recipe is ideal for sushi fans looking to try something new and exciting.

Ingredients

Time Needed

  • Prep Time: 30 minutes
  • Cook Time: 20 minutes
  • Total Time: 50 minutes

Instructions

  • Rinse the sushi rice with cold water until it is clear.
  • Bring the rice and 2 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan.
  • Reduce the heat to low, cover, and cook for 20 minutes.
  • Remove from the heat and leave the rice covered for 10 minutes.
  • Mix the rice vinegar, sugar, and salt in a small saucepan over low heat until the sugar and salt have dissolved.
  • Add the vinegar mixture to the cooked rice in a large mixing bowl.
  • Allow to cool after thoroughly mixing.
  • Arrange a sheet of nori on a sushi mat, shiny side down.
  • Evenly distribute 1/2 cup of the prepared sushi rice over the nori.
  • Top the rice with a tablespoon of Japanese mayonnaise.
  • On top of the mayonnaise, layer 4 shrimp and a few slices of avocado.
  • Using the mat, roll the sushi tightly and seal the edges with water.
  • Repeat with the remaining ingredients to make four sushi rolls.
  • Serve with wasabi paste and soy sauce.
