This Avocado, Crab, and Seaweed Roll is a tasty and simple sushi roll that is ideal for any occasion. The salty nori seaweed and tangy sushi rice complement the creamy avocado and savory crab meat.

  • Cook Time: 20 minutes
  • Total Time: 40 minutes

Instructions

  • Make the sushi rice according to the package directions.
  • In a small bowl, combine the rice vinegar, sugar, and salt.
  • When the rice is done, add the vinegar mixture and gently mix it in.
  • Place a nori seaweed sheet on a bamboo sushi mat.
  • Spread half of the rice evenly on top of the nori, leaving a 1-inch border at the top.
  • Arrange the crab meat and avocado slices down the center of the rice in a line.
  • Roll the sushi tightly on the bamboo mat, pressing gently as you go.
  • Rep with the rest of the nori, rice, crab, and avocado.
  • Cut the rolls into 1-inch pieces with a sharp knife.
  • If desired, top with soy sauce and wasabi.
